Beneath Raindrops, Markarian and Saks Fifth Avenue Hosted an Alfresco Terrace Meal

Nothing can stop Markarian girls from a party—even in the face of a rainstorm. This holds even more true when the Markarian girl is Alexandra O’Neill, founder of the New York-based label. To celebrate the arrival of Markarian’s resort collectsion at Saks Fifth Avenue, Tracy Margolies and O’Neill gathered a great group of ladies (and some gentlemen) to the 9th-floor terrace off of L’Avenue at Saks Fifth Avenue.

Everyone wore Markarian (read: everyone looked lovely) as they sipped on cocktails. In attendance were Nicky Hilton Rothschild, Finnegan Biden, Veronica Webb, Maye Musk, Abby Phillip, Charlotte Groeneveld, Micaela Erlanger, Pippa Bennett-Warner, Lili Buffet, and more.

Upon arrival, the weather was behaving, but just as everyone sat down to tuck into their miso-glazed salmon filets, the rain began to fall. No matter, a last-minute canopy had been draped overhead and bottles of tequila were passed around to keep the party going. After remarks from Margolies welcoming everyone to the evening, the conversation amplified and transferred over to Le Chalet, where dessert and martinis were passed around and everyone stayed till at least 11:00 p.m. Cheers to Markarian!
