Fashion Month Went Out With a Bang at Miu Miu’s After-Party

Each season, Miu Miu closes out fashion month with a show on the last day of Paris Fashion Week. For Spring 2020, Miuccia Prada sent models such as Gigi and Bella Hadid down a wooden runway (designed by AMO to be recycled after the show) wearing a variety of pieces that took inspiration from the ’90s—floral DIY-looking vests, leather skirts, and sexy mohair off-the-shoulder cardigans—while Rita Ora, Lili Reinhart, Pixie Geldof, and Alexa Chung sat front row wearing this season’s crochet and camouflage creations.

Afterward, Miu Miu invited showgoers and VIPs to its after-party at Lapérouse. Inside the ornate, wallpapered rooms lit by crystal chandeliers, guests such as photographer Ellen von Unwerth and actress Bel Powley sipped Champagne and danced while Leigh Lezark deejayed through the night.

Inside the mazelike walls of the restaurant, other attendees like Kiersey Clemons, Raffey Cassidy, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, and Lachlan Watson snapped selfies and chatted at packed tables in various corners.

Upstairs, a private dinner took place for the biggest VIPs of the night. Hosted by Derek Blasberg, celebs such as Rita Ora, Pixie Geldof, and some of the industry’s top international editors munched on the restaurant’s French classics before heading down to the floors below. There was a celebratory spirit in the air, beyond commemorating Miu Miu’s latest show. Guests were happy to cheer another a fashion month’s job well done. A votre santé!
