    Al and I arriving at Do Brazil. We decided to have our welcome party–cum–rehearsal dinner at this restaurant because it's a local favorite for seafood. The restaurant is on Shell Beach, aptly named since it’s composed primarily of seashells rather than sand.

    Friday night started at Eden Rock, one of the first hotels on the island and home to my favorite restaurant, Jean-Georges’s On The Rocks, by far. The evening began there and moved onto the beach.

    Here, I am on my wedding day sharing an intimate moment with my bridesmaid Emma Morrison, who helped me into my Valentino wedding dress. I trusted my hair and makeup team implicitly. Quinn Murphy and Bryce Scarlett were so lovely I asked them to attend the wedding dinner.

    Growing up, everyone had a Moke on the island. They are rarely seen now, which made having one at the wedding very special for me. We decorated ours with gray-edged auricula.

    The only moment Alex and I were truly alone was during this drive. I highly recommend taking a moment for yourself as a couple.

    We used pebbles for our placement. On the right is an Olympia Le-Tan clutch–I collects them and love to place them on my bookshelf alongside favorite books after I’ve worn them to disrepair.

    Bougainvillea covered the ceiling of the after party. The extraordinary lanterns were provided by my mother, an antiques dealer. And we must have looked at so many wicker peacock chairs that our eyes started to go blind, but I really wanted to have a feeling of old St. Barth’s.

    Leon Bridges was exceptional. Alex and I remain his most devoted fans. I will never forget the first time I heard “River,” and it still gives me chills.
