The Bride Wore Custom Calvin Klein, and the Groom Wore a Bucket Hat at This Miami Museum Wedding Gallery
Photo: Courtesy of Danielle Nachmani1/44Hudson Shively worked with me and Michael to design our dream invitation. I sent him a mood board of old Dries Van Noten fashion show invites, and he created a wedding invite from it. He did all the printing for every aspect of our wedding and was a dream to work with.
Photo: Courtesy of Danielle Nachmani2/44I was lucky enough to have a custom Calvin Klein wedding gown. This was the beginning of our final fitting, and as you can see, I was very emotional as this was the first time I had tried on the dress in its full completion.
Photo: Courtesy of Danielle Nachmani3/44I bring my Contax T2 everywhere, and this fitting was no different. It was important to me that I documented a process that felt like a dream.
Photo: Courtesy of Danielle Nachmani4/44Pieter Mulier is someone whose career I have followed for many years. I am so in awe of his talent and his consistent kindness every time I see him. I was so happy to have been able to work with him on this. This moment was when we both agreed that a veil was a must.
Photo: Courtesy of Danielle Nachmani5/44I was having a lot of fun with the veil, and my sister snapped this photo. As a stylist, it was so strange to be on this side of the fitting, but I really soaked up every second.
Photo: David X Prutting and Mike Vitelli for BFA Weddings6/44This Calvin Klein By Appointment sequin mini was something I had tried on at our first initial fitting. My mom was actually the one who fell in love with it first, and she insisted I wear it to the rehearsal. I’m not one for sequins, but I have to say it was the perfect dress, and it was so special to wear Calvin Klein By Appointment both nights. I paired it with my mom’s vintage diamond floral earrings and a silk clutch from The Row that was sent to me from their studio as a gift for my wedding weekend the night before we left.
Photo: David X Prutting and Mike Vitelli for BFA Weddings7/44Emily Bode is a friend and also a young designer I love. I introduced Michael to the brand and he knew he wanted to wear it for the wedding at some point. Emily custom-made him his entire rehearsal look, bucket hat included! Michael’s Mars Yard shoes are never too far away, so of course they were the perfect accessory to his look.
Photo: David X Prutting and Mike Vitelli for BFA Weddings8/44Michael has a style that has been unique since our first date. He was wearing bucket hats four years ago and knew exactly what he wanted when we went in for our first fitting with Emily. This is my favorite color on Michael and the look worked so perfectly for our rooftop rehearsal dinner.
Photo: David X Prutting and Mike Vitelli for BFA Weddings9/44All of our best friends gave amazing speeches. This photo was taken right as the night had wrapped and a dance party ensued. Daniel Chetrit was a cohost of the evening alongside our friend David Shabtai (not pictured), and our friend and musician Buddy flew in the night before he left for a tour in Australia to celebrate with us for one evening. I am pretty sure he’s performing for us in this moment.
Photo: David X Prutting and Mike Vitelli for BFA Weddings10/44Our beautiful friend Lauren Fastenberg in one of my favorite dresses of the night (by Brock)!
Photo: David X Prutting and Mike Vitelli for BFA Weddings11/44Our best friend Ariel pulled together an impromptu after-party following our rehearsal dinner in the lobby bar of our hotel. Pictured here our dear friends from Los Angeles, Brock Korsan, Pedro Cavaliere (who also deejayed our wedding), and Dani de la Fe.
Photo: David X Prutting and Mike Vitelli for BFA Weddings12/44Michael asked me to dance in the middle of the party, and I am so happy someone got this shot as it was such a special moment.
Photo: David X Prutting and Mike Vitelli for BFA Weddings13/44Michael’s best friend and best man Marc Kalman designed these incredible shirts for all our wedding guests. Everyone wore them at some point over the weekend.
Photo: David X Prutting and Mike Vitelli for BFA Weddings14/44This photo was taken about two hours before the ceremony. The Pérez Art Museum is right on the bay, and the wind was definitely starting to pick up!
Photo: David X Prutting and Mike Vitelli for BFA Weddings15/44All of our guests stayed at The Standard Hotel. I love that the hotel is off the strip and right on the bay. You feel like you are totally separated from the craziness of South Beach.
Photo: David X Prutting and Mike Vitelli for BFA Weddings16/44The burger at The Standard is one of my favorites. I was very concerned about how little I would be eating at the wedding so I might be the only bride in history to have a burger and fries before getting into her dress.
Photo: David X Prutting and Mike Vitelli for BFA Weddings17/44My mom and my sisters came to my room to get ready with me. It was so fun to all be together. Teddi Cranford of White Rose Collective is a hairstylist I work with, and I was so excited when she agreed to do my hair for my wedding. Shayna Goldberg is an amazing makeup artist who I joke is the queen of skin. She is so good at effortless makeup and made sure my skin looked flawless and was glowing the entire weekend. They were the ultimate bridal glam team.
Photo: David X Prutting and Mike Vitelli for BFA Weddings18/44I of course trusted no one to carry my things but myself, even on my wedding day; it’s the stylist in me.
Photo: David X Prutting and Mike Vitelli for BFA Weddings19/44One of our dear friends surprised Michael and I with a vintage Rolls-Royce to take us to and from the wedding. It matched my silk white pajamas that I picked up on a work trip to Rome over the summer, and The Row clutch was truly the perfect accessory throughout my entire weekend.
Photo: David X Prutting and Mike Vitelli for BFA Weddings20/44I love this photo of me and my sisters. Being the oldest I am so used to being the caretaker. They were the best matrons of honor a girl could ask for; they held my hand and train every step of the way. Also they looked so amazing in their La Bomba Jacquemus dresses.
Photo: David X Prutting and Mike Vitelli for BFA Weddings21/44My beautiful mother getting her dress’s finishing touches by my father who has the most impeccable eye for detail.
Photo: David X Prutting and Mike Vitelli for BFA Weddings22/44My dad was my partner in planning for this entire wedding weekend. He is someone I look up to in every sense of the word, and I absolutely love this photo of us. You can see the pure happiness in our faces.
Photo: David X Prutting and Mike Vitelli for BFA Weddings23/44Our beautiful flower girls/nieces Ruby Lou and Kaia Sylvie. They were practicing all weekend and could not have been cuter. BRRCH Floral made the most adorable baby’s breath bouquets that she spray-painted different colors.
Photo: David X Prutting and Mike Vitelli for BFA Weddings24/44Walking down the aisle with both my parents was one of the most peaceful moments of my life. I will never forget it.
Photo: David X Prutting and Mike Vitelli for BFA Weddings25/44Detail shot from our ketubah signing. The bust on my dress was my absolute favorite, and Brittany from BRRCH floral designed the most unique and beautiful boutonnieres for Michael and his best man.
Photo: David X Prutting and Mike Vitelli for BFA Weddings26/44This shot was taken right before the ceremony officially began. It was so special to look out and see everyone we love in one place.
Photo: David X Prutting and Mike Vitelli for BFA Weddings27/44It was incredibly important to me that our ceremony felt very simple and traditional. My family from Israel brought this tallit to Miami after having it blessed at the wall. It’s something I want to keep in my family for generations.
Photo: David X Prutting and Mike Vitelli for BFA Weddings28/44I love this photo so much. It’s the moment we became husband and wife.
Photo: David X Prutting and Mike Vitelli for BFA Weddings29/44Our niece Ruby making her own grand exit!
Photo: David X Prutting and Mike Vitelli for BFA Weddings30/44Making our way out to the reception. The museum has this massive staircase that led everyone down to the dinner that I absolutely loved.
Photo: David X Prutting and Mike Vitelli for BFA Weddings31/44It was so special to tour the exhibit during cocktail hour, especially escaping for a minute just us two.
Photo: David X Prutting and Mike Vitelli for BFA Weddings32/44My beautiful best friends Vanessa Packer Ru and Ali Zalaznick. Their wedding looks never disappoint.
Photo: David X Prutting and Mike Vitelli for BFA Weddings33/44A beautiful BRRCH floral arrangement. Each table had its own color scheme. Brittany’s work amazes me.
Photo: David X Prutting and Mike Vitelli for BFA Weddings34/44We were lucky enough to have jazz band Onyx Collective perform at the beginning of our reception. This is an amazing shot of drummer Austin Williamson.
Photo: David X Prutting and Mike Vitelli for BFA Weddings35/44I love this photo of Michael and I dancing to Onyx Collective at the beginning of the evening.
Photo: David X Prutting and Mike Vitelli for BFA Weddings36/44This was right after my dad’s hilarious speech. My mom wore all white and a cape/veil to part of the wedding. I gave her a hard time, but it really looked beautiful.
Photo: David X Prutting and Mike Vitelli for BFA Weddings37/44This was during a very memorable father-daughter dance to “The Way You Look Tonight.” I am definitely my father’s daughter, and this moment is one I will cherish forever.
Photo: David X Prutting and Mike Vitelli for BFA Weddings38/44Michael and my beautiful mother-in-law.
Photo: David X Prutting and Mike Vitelli for BFA Weddings39/44A sea of bucket hats mid-hora. After three daughters, you would think my parents were professionals at this point.
Photo: David X Prutting and Mike Vitelli for BFA Weddings40/44Michael insisted on changing into his Nikes following cocktail hour. He really enjoyed the hora. Me? Not so much. Ha!
Photo: David X Prutting and Mike Vitelli for BFA Weddings41/44At around midnight, I changed into this Paco Rabanne minidress. It was a favorite from a fitting I had with Laura Harrier, and I knew I had to wear it as my party dress that night. Michael added on his custom Bode evening bucket.
Photo: David X Prutting and Mike Vitelli for BFA Weddings42/44Sweet Guilt in Miami made the most amazing “naked cake.” I love coconut, but also wanted to incorporate some berries. I wasn’t sure it would go together, but Angelica brought my dream cake to life.
Photo: David X Prutting and Mike Vitelli for BFA Weddings43/44We opted to cut our cake around 1:00 a.m., which led to Michael deciding to cut the cake starting from the top tier. We are so lucky it didn’t topple over.
Photo: David X Prutting and Mike Vitelli for BFA Weddings44/44David Prutting (our photographer) was running around with about five cameras around his neck—a Polaroid included. This is one of my favorite shots of the night . . . it’s pure joy!
