Take a Tour of This Fashion Muse’s Bright and Minimal Helsinki Apartment

For nearly 20 years, Suvi-Elina Enqvist, the muse and head of design and marketing for Finnish fashion label Samuji, felt as if she didn’t have a home base. Like her husband, Taqi Kizilbash, she spent the majority of her youth living in various cities, whether it was San Francisco, New York, or Paris. Finally, in 2008, the couple found a place to settle. Kizilbash discovered a unique property located in the southernmost district of Helsinki called Ullanlinna, an area known for, as Enqvist explains, “its Art Nouveau architecture and eclectic residents that include artists, intellectuals, musicians, and politicians. The sea is on one side of town and the downtown area, on the other.”
