At Killing Eve’s Season 2 premiere, Jodie Comer channeled Villanelle in a sequin-embellished dress by Victoria Beckham; daring and overtly sexy, with an unexpected flash of bare back, the dress cemented Comer’s status as a style star to watch.
The sultry vibe was also reflected in the week’s other all-noir looks—from the crystal-covered Balmain cape and crop top Naomi Campbell wore to Marc Jacobs’s nuptials to Charlize Theron’s slinky knit Alexander McQueen number at CinemaCon—but black wasn’t the only option for those looking to stand out. Rihanna arrived at her Fenty Beauty party on Tuesday in a chartreuse satin minidress that prompted fans to speculate whether she was offering us a first glimpse at her LVMH luxury line.
To celebrate the final season of Game of Thrones, Gwendoline Christie enlisted Iris van Herpen for a couture moment worthy of A Song of Ice and Fire. In one of artist Kim Keever’s droplet prints, Christie twirled down the red carpet, “flames” of lavender and yellow trailing behind her, for a spectacle that was a delight to watch.
