Some A-list nominees kept their Oscars looks for the celebratory soirée; others performed quick outfit changes and wore brand-new gowns. Celebs who skipped the main event also showed up in their best evening attire too.

Some standouts on the party circuit last night? Oscars performer Billie Eilish hit the step-and-repeat in a custom Gucci ensemble: it consisted of a crystal-embroidered bowling shirt and pants, worn overtop a GG-monogrammed mesh shirt. Accessories such as fingerless tulle globes, Flashtrek sneakers, and rectangular shades gave it that trademark Billie touch. Best-actress nominee Charlize Theron (for Bombshell) also debuted a new ensemble for the party, showing up in stunning golden Dior Haute Couture gown that was reminiscent of the Oscar statue itself.

Stars who skipped the main event (but showed up afterwards) included Kim Kardashian West and Kanye West. The husband and wife hit up the after-party in grand style: Kardashian West notably wore a vintage Alexander McQueen gown, the iconic “Oyster” dress, that originates from the designer’s spring 2003 collectsion and is meant to evoke the feel of a shipwreck. Kerry Washington also stood out from the party pack in a heavily embellished Zuhair Murad Couture two-piece. Meanwhile, Euphoria star Hunter Schafer was also one of the best dressed of the night in Givenchy Haute Couture, opting for a multicolor fringed gown that was unabashedly fun—everything an after-party gown should be.
