Anna Wintour, Cynthia Erivo, and Chuck Schumer Lead the Way at the Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration’s Hope Rising Benefit
“This is the incredible thing,” said Senator Chuck Schumer at last night’s Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration’s Hope Rising Benefit, “it afflicts so many people.” Schumer was taking a brief moment away from Washington, D.C., to help raise awareness on the cerebral degenerative disease and receive the Susan Newhouse and Si Newhouse Award of Hope for his ongoing efforts to secure funding and research to combat the growing problem. “Because sometimes, even doctors, mistake it for Alzheimer’s, it doesn’t get the attention it deserves.”
