On Wednesday, Manhattan was engulfed in what almost felt like a monsoon. Not that the rain stopped showgoers from flooding the front rows on day one of New York Fashion Week. The light at the end of the tunnel, so to speak, came by way of a trip to 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge where the Bulgari Goldea, the Roman Night fragrance launch was being thrown by Bella Hadid. With nary a trenchcoat nor rain boot in sight, the hostess braved the dark and gloomy downpour in a bright white cocktail dress by Dolce & Gabbana. “I thought it was going to be, like, a cute summer night!” she said, rationalizing her chosen attire for the evening. “I wanted to stack up my bracelets, and this was super simple.”
