It’s Beauty Marks time: Vogue’s weekly series running you through the best in celebrity beauty each week. Plus, fashion month continues! This time, with some flyaways from the Milanese runway.
Elsewhere this week in celebrity beauty, Jennie and Doechii dropped the video for “ExtraL”–it’s the third single released from Jennie’s forthcoming record Ruby, and like all of her visuals, features a host of looks: “XL” grills, hair jewels, tight braids. But the beauty focal point was the duo’s twinned scarlet talons. Manicures definitely ran the gamut of shapes and vibes this week: Laufey tried her hand at the naked manicure trend (a bare-nailed look approved by the likes of Anya Taylor-Joy and Selena Gomez), while Irina Shayk repped Brazil with one singular flag-emblazoned nail—“come to Brazil!” her digit beckons.
One celebrity hair transformation we’ve been keeping an eye on is that of Daisy Edgar-Jones. Free from the look imposed on her for her previous project, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, hairstylist Cervando Maldonado has crafted bangs worthy of being pinned beside fringe-inspo from Jane Birkin and Brigitte Bardot. She took them out for a spin on the front row of Gucci’s show at Milan Fashion Week. Milano also saw Prada’s Fall 2025 show take place, where frizz and flyaways took center stage. Otherwise in the world of hair, model Leomie Anderson took her lengths to glossy extremes, and Derry Girls and The Decameron actor Saoirse-Monica Jackson went brunette. For Rico Nasty, extreme was the name of the game, with some needlepoint glam by way of her acupuncturist.

Musician Laufey let’s her romantic, billowing top do all the talking.

How else would Irina Shayk add her style stamp to the Carnaval de Rio? A fresh set of Brazil flag-emblazoned nails does the trick. Keeping the rest of her manicure a sheer, glossy pink, one singular flag nail adds the oomph.

Daisy Edgar-Jones’ bangs
Daisy Edgar-Jones’ bang-watch continues. This time, she takes her enviable chop to the front row of Gucci Fall 2025 for Milan Fashion Week. While it was hairstylist Cervando Maldonado who crafted her thick and sumptuous bangs, it was stylist Peter Lux who gave Edgar-Jones her ’60s French cinema-inspired hair, slightly rubbings up her crown and adding some voluminous layers. Perfetto!

The breakout star of Shrinking took her crystalline silver eyes and posey pink blush to the 2025 SAG Awards. Glam was done by Amber Dreadon, who has worked some shimmery magic on everyone from Kaia Gerber to Tinashe and Angelina Jolie. This otherworldly look matched perfectly with the flowing, embellished Jason Wu gown and Cartier jewels.

Flyaways are sooo back, as per Mrs. P. The legendary Guido Palau and Lynsey Alexander played with prescriptive codes of ‘femininity’ and every day beauty, reflecting the Raw Glamour collectsion themes with mussed up hair and makeup. It carries on from Miu Miu’s Fall 2023 runway’s frizzy ponytails.
