Larry David Is Back, and Of Course You Can Guess His Favorite Met-Gala Moment

Last night, 23rd Street was the victim of a few complaints and an outpouring of love. The reason? Larry David and HBO hosted the season-nine premiere of their hit series, Curb Your Enthusiasm. The red carpet had a fleet of fans, from Broadway’s Andrew Rannells to Steve Buscemi, who all flocked to see what David had been up to since taking a hiatus in 2011. So, what keeps the cast coming back to do more? “Larry,” said Cheryl Hines in a Camilla and Marc LBD. “He’s just so smart and silly. It’s quite a combination.” As for Hines’s favorite episode? “When my family made the manger scene out of cookies, and Larry ate the baby Jesus and Mary.” And what about her husband, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.? “The Dodgers game—I love when he drove in the HOV lane,” said Kennedy, referring to the episode where Larry makes use of the carpool lane to ensure he arrives at the game on time.
