Kerry Washington and More Are Honored at the Fashion Group International’s Night of Stars Awards

On Thursday, Cipriani Wall Street played host to the Fashion Group International’s annual Night of Stars awards, which this year honored a glittering group of designers including Dries Van Noten, Thom Browne, Simone Rocha, and Isabel Marant. Kerry Washington flew in from Los Angeles to be presented with the Lord & Taylor Fashion Oracle award. “My first reaction was, ‘Am I going to be able to get to New York?’ ” she said. “Now that I’m a mom, it’s all logistical.” The actress resides in Los Angeles with her husband, Nnamdi Asomugha, and their two children, though the Bronx native is a New Yorker at heart. “I grew up going to see Lord & Taylor’s holiday windows every Christmas, so this feels very special.”
