Images of the Week: The Venice Film Festival Kicks Off 

The Venice Film Festival is in full swing, and its red carpet is supplying plenty to watch. From Cate Blanchett’s 3D floral Schiaparelli jumpsuit to Timothée Chalamet’s backless red Haider Ackermann getup, the ensembles on the step-and-repeat have been just as noteworthy as the films themselves. 

Serena Williams is out of the US Open, after losing in the third round against Ajla Tomljanović. The tennis star announced that this tournament would be her last of her incredible career in Vogue’s September issue. 

At Sunday’s MTV VMAs, Taylor Swift announced her 10th studio album, Midnights, while accepting an award for her music video/short film All Too Well. Swifties went wild. 

Kate Moss is launching a wellness brand, Cosmoss: a collectsion of teas and skincare that she’s developed over the past two and a half years. “Cosmoss celebrates my vulnerabilities and strengths,” she told British Vogue. 

Have you gotten your passes to Vogue World? This week, it was announced that Precious Lee, Karen Elson, Emily Ratajkowski, Hari Nef, Jeremy O. Harris, Adut Akech, Brooklyn and Nicola Peltz-Beckham, and Gigi Hadid will be collaborating with the live runway event, held on September 12. 

Finally, designer Simon Porte Jacquemus and Marco Maestri tied the knot in Provence, France last weekend. Dua Lipa attended in a white sheer Jacquemus gown. Congrats to the happy couple. Below, see the images of the week.
