“It’s definitely my favorite place in Paris!” Simon Porte Jacquemus exclaimed enthusiastically in the middle of the party celebrating his Spring 2018 collectsion. “The challenge was to feel that very magic Provençal vibe and get to recreate a cozy atmosphere around me, while honoring my mum in front of the eye of the artist I love the most, Picasso!” On an almost-rainy Monday night, the Jacquemus team, PR office Lucien Pagès, producer Bureau Betak, and the Woolmark Company brought to Paris the unbeatable summer vibe and warm mood of “La Provence” (not even the rain could stop it!). The beautiful courtyard of the Picasso Museum set the scene, reminding visitors the moment they walked in of a familiar village, with a cobblestone floor and discreet presence in the Marais. It evoked a nostalgic place where the best memories of summer are made during never-ending mid-August fetes.
