Jessica Biel Brings Out a Holy Crowd for The Sinner Premiere

“I loved the source material,” beamed Jessica Biel in a cheery and rainbow-colored Elie Saab halter neck dress at last night’s premiere of The Sinner. Biel was so enamored with the book by Petra Hammesfahr (and translated by John Brownjohn) that she also executive produced the chilling psychological drama that sees her star opposite screen legend Bill Pullman. “I felt every twist and turn I didn’t expect,” added Biel. “It shocked me at every turn along the way [and] spoke to me somehow.” And in the limited run USA series we also see Biel switch gears with her wardrobe and taking a more low key approach. “My character is very simple and it was a particularly chosen wardrobe so that it wasn’t all that exciting,” explained Biel, who often appears in blood-soaked ensembles. Was there anything she wanted to keep? “No!” exclaimed the actress with a laugh.
