Katy Perry’s Post Met Gala Boom Boom Bash Was Fun and Dance Filled

Last night, Katy Perry hosted a post–Met Gala after party at the Boom Boom Room, which brought out the likes of J.Lo, John Legend and Chrissy Teigen, and Priyanka Chopra. Inside, Eddie Redmayne chatted up James Corden and Julia Carey, while siblings Jake and Maggie Gyllenhaal caught up over cocktails. Also dancing to some of Perry’s greatest hits were Trevor Noah, Julianne Moore, Raf Simons, the Olsens, Aymeline Valade, and bright young things Dakota Johnson and Emily Ratajkowski (who also changed into a dress from Monse). Shimmying to the live band—which included trombone and tuba players—were Lupita Nyong’o (who stayed in her Prada), Cynthia Erivo (in a revolutionary-inspired Thom Browne look), Isabelle Huppert (still in her beret), Kerry Washington, Brie Larson, Elle Fanning, and tennis legend Roger Federer.
