When Michael Chabon, Pulitzer Prize winner and author of Moonglow, picked out his outfit for the New York Public Library’s Library Lions gala, the annual fall fete that honors outstanding artists and their contributions to the creative community at large, a simple tuxedo just wouldn’t do. So instead, he accessorized with a colorful Kenneth Jay Lane scarf he “found in a thrift shop.”
