In its almost 100-year existence, Nom Wah Tea Parlor has been the location of many a wild night. On Tuesday evening, New York City’s downtown dumpling hot spot hosted an intimate gathering put together by Gucci to celebrate Petra Collins’s first monograph of her photography. Collins might only be 24, but over the past 10 years, she’s become a force to be reckoned with in the art and fashion worlds for her pointed imagery of young women and the world they inhabit. “When we started with this book, I thought I was going to do new work,” she told Vogue at the event. “But then I realized that I never had something solid that showcased my work and what I’ve been doing my whole life, so we decided that’s what we were going to do.”
