Roger Federer Celebrates 36th Birthday With Intimate, Star-Studded Gathering in New York City
Does Roger Federer even recognize birthdays anymore? The Swiss legend may have turned 36 earlier this month, but his tennis this year has been ageless—Grand Slam titles in Australia and at Wimbledon, the latter his record eighth. Federer now has 19 Slams in total, and, at a time when most tennis stars have been long retired, feet on the couch, he heads into the U.S. Open in New York as both the game’s legitimate and sentimental favorite.
