In need of fall wedding ideas? There’s something so romantic, after all, about marrying as the leaves change to brilliant colors, the temperature cools, and the harvest reaches its peak. In fact, according to The Knot, September 20—just as the seasons change—will be the most popular wedding date of 2025.
Throughout the weddings published in Vogue, brides and grooms have incorporated multiple seasonal motifs into their events to stunning results: take Erin Beatty, who set her seating chart among a stack of firewood, or Danielle Nachmani, who carried a bouquet of kumquats down the aisle. Then there are the wedding centerpieces, often done in a moody color palette of maroons, ochres, and umbers with seasonal blooms. (For her wedding at New York City's The Rainbow Room, for example, Brooke Bobb included milkweed pods and heirloom chrysanthemums in her floral arrangements.) And even with the colder weather, some couples still held stunning outdoor ceremonies in tents overlooking Long Island Sound, or in the woods of New Hampshire.
