All Aboard for The Greatest Showman’s Magical World Premiere

On Friday night, the world premiere of The Greatest Showman took place in an unexpected spot, aboard the Queen Mary 2 ship, docked in Brooklyn. “[The location] feels unusual and that’s P. T. Barnum. He wouldn’t want to do anything like anyone else,” said Hugh Jackman, who plays P. T. Barnum, the showman and founder of the traveling Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus, in the film. “I think he would love this choice,” Jackman added. He explained that the location is an ode to Barnum’s many transatlantic trips.
