Tom Ford Beauty Launched Ombré Leather Parfum With a Wild West Hollywood Shindig

West Hollywood went back to its Wild West roots last night as Tom Ford Beauty celebrated the launch of its latest fragrance, Ombré Leather Parfum. The party, held at TikTok hotspot Saddle Ranch on the Sunset Strip, embraced all things yeehaw in a nod to the American west of Texas-born Ford’s childhood and the inspiration for the fragrance. The dress code for the night was ‘Western,’ and the glamorous crowd, which included Lil Nas X, Sydney Sweeney, Alexis Ren, Dree Hemingway, Grace Johnson, and Mickey Sumner, obliged with an abundance of leather, denim, crystal fringing, and ten-gallon hats. 

As guests arrived, a saunter of cowboys dressed in tight white t-shirts, jeans, and western hats served up margaritas and shots of tequila in boot-shaped shot glasses while DJ Soo Joo Park played a country-themed set of Dolly Parton and Shania Twain tunes. The social media moment of the party was the venue’s famous mechanical bucking bronco, and the party was clearly game for their first rodeo. Designer Zizi Donahoe, dressed in a sequin cow print dress and horns, provided the meta moment of the night, while Sweeney—in a Tom Ford mustard leather plonge mini skirt—obliged after wrapping herself in a tablecloth for modesty’s sake. “It’s definitely been a dream of mine to ride a bull wearing a tablecloth,” she joked, throwing her cowboy hat into the crowd after her victory ride. Lil Nas X, in a Tom Ford lime green sequin shirt (open to the waist naturally) and acetate jeans, declined, preferring to hang out at the bar with his posse. 

As the night went on, Nikolai Haas and Djuna Bel, fresh off the plane from Art Basel in Miami, joined Rainey Qualley and Adonis Bosso around the outdoor campfire pits on bales of hay. Before leaving, in true cheeky Tom Ford style, t-shirts emblazoned with the words “I got bucked by TF” were handed out as parting gifts. A wild fashion statement if ever there was one.
