A Tribute to L’Wren Scott
Released on 03/20/2014
Everything in fashion should be complete,
and perfect, and well planned, and thought out.
Ooh, oh my goodness.
Stunning.
(sad music)
I always think of the head-to-toe.
I can't not design a head-to-toe look.
As I collaborate with Mr. Jones,
that would be my second call to make sure
that the head-to-toe look would be complete.
This is actually the first bridal dress
we've collaborated on.
This is true, this is true.
I got very heavily involved in this dress
because it's very intense work
when you create something couture
for someone's incredibly special day.
We'll do many more across the bottom
once we've done our fittings.
I'm a big fan of needlework,
so when you're commissioned to do a couture piece,
you choose to do each piece based on
where you know they'll do the most beautiful work.
Each big flower takes two days,
and there's quite a lot of flowers in our garden.
It should be about the girl, so the biggest compliment
is that you're just enhancing her,
how beautiful she is on her special day.
It's a very L'Wren Scott silhouette,
and I love to define women's female curves
so I think it'll go down quite well.
