Transcript
I'm Chelsea Manning and I'm getting ready
to speak with my friend Sally.
We're gonna talk about technology
and the implications of it.
Technology is not unbiased, it's not neutral,
whether it's artificial intelligence, your credit rating,
or whether your neighborhood is heavily policed,
whatever biases that we as developers and we as humans
put into our software, will effect the outcome.
So that's gonna be the norm, ya know,
unless we become cognizant of those consequences
of the systems that we build.
