The reflection with that collectsion was
really related to the fashion and duration exhibition
that is going to happen at The Costume Institute
in May for the next May Ball.
I ask Milena Canonero, who is a absolutely fantastic genius
to collaborate with us
and I say I give you the keys of the project.
I want a group of characters that represent
different countries, different culture, different time.
I want a tableau vivant.
She really made a fantastic shopping all around the world
to put all those character together.

For the sonography of the show,
we worked with Francisco Negrin.
He made all those characters doing beautiful movements
to show to the audience that those character
are really alive
and they are really watching them.
[dramatic classical music]
In addition to building that tableau vivant,
I ask Woodkid and Bris Lessner to write a special piece
with a beautiful chorus,
so at some point this group of character
will express themselves singing
and it's a very beautiful composition,
so I'm very happy to share that today with everyone.
[gentle music]
It is a reflection about the time
and in this case, this season,
it's more about clashes of time.
I wanted to imagine what could happen
if the past could look at us.
The present is clearly the collectsion.
It's what's going on today.
It's a collectsion that speaks for 2020 and winter 2021.
I have the feeling that, in a way,
the room can represent the future.
