The Spring 2016 Milan Menswear Shows

Men's Fashion Week in Milan this season was

a Zed to A affair, that's Zegna to Armani.

Designers wanted to travel.

Some of them went surfing, some of them went backpacking.

A lot of them were looking at China,

and India was a close second as a popular destination.

Tomas Meier at Bottega Veneta headed up

the Pacific Coast Highway.

Zegna and Missoni looked to India.

Gucci and Dolce and Gabbana looked further east to China.

Maybe this hunger of exoticism is all about escape.

Whatever.

It certainly made for a lot of visually ravishing shows.
