Summer is hot, sticky.

Summer is sexy, outdoors.

Basking in the sun.

Glistening bodies on a beach.

The smell of fresh flowers.

I have to be honest, I wish I always had a glam team.

But today we're gonna be work shopping

and trying on some looks for summer festivals.

[slow percussive music]

When I'm approaching festival season,

I am ready for war.

My battery pack is charged,

my water bottle full,

my shoes comfortable.

Because you just don't know what you're going to get into.

Lace is always fun in the summer

'cause it's light and it's breezy.

But it makes things look a little bit fancier than they are.

On any perfect summer day that I ever have,

I'm with friends.

And we're making the most stupid jokes

you've ever heard in your life.

We're probably wearing each other's clothes.

We'll go over to each other's houses,

go through the closet.

This dress is really cute.

And you, like, immerse yourself into the world.

In the summertime, I want something cold.

So picture this, it's summertime, it's hot.

Our days are long.

We're taking our White Claw Vodka and Soda.

It is the perfect mix of premium vodka,

then also a little bit of fruitiness.

I'm not compromising on quality for any reason,

so if it's not triple filtered, I'm not drinking it.

So we've got the platform boot

and a really voluminous stress.

It's a little bit more punk rock.

[mellow jazzy music]

My fashion influences kind of lie in the work

of really powerful stylists.

Think about these women who are image architects

and how to apply the principles of the work that they do

to the storytelling that I want to do.

I think a lot about fashion diplomacy.

I dress thinking about the artwork or the artist.

For me, it's really fun to think about like,

your own take on something that's relevant

to the space in which you're going to.

In my next look, we're gonna go for something

that's a little bit more ethereal.

Last summer for the first time,

I went to a photo festival in the south of France.

It was started in the 1970s.

Photography was barely even considered a medium of art

at that time.

So there's this really interesting renegade festival

of some of the best photography you've never heard of.

Festivals, I think gives you carte blanche

to dress however you wanna dress.

My hope when other people see my fashion is

not that they've made a decision about me.

My deepest hope is that people make a decision

about themselves.

The light that I might be able to radiate

in the way that I've dressed and fashioned myself

might inspire other people to do that

for themselves as well.
