As a child, I watched my mother who's Japanese,

and her style really came from Tokyo.

The merge of the old and the new together takes time

and it takes the utmost delicate touch.

The golden standard of Japanese culture,

we love our kimono.

My [speaking Japanese] my grandmother

wore one of these every day.

When you wear kimono, there's a sense of honor and luxury.

The kimono process could take up to six years

for just one kimono. [hip hop music]

You could spend a full day here just browsing

and dreaming about a world beyond

anything you've ever imagined.

One of my favorite spots in Tokyo is Ueno Park.

This is a park that I grew up going to as a little kid.

Running through Ueno Park

is the best way to clear your mind.

We're stuck in our own little world on these apps all day

and we think that that's real life.

But real life is in the food, it's in the people,

it's in culture, and it's in travel.

And it's also inside of you.

My parents met here, they fell in love here.

This futuristic immersion

of east and west, old and new.

We want the world to come here, just to eat.

Tea is like my favorite thing in the whole world.

Matcha tea ceremony for thousands of years.

We just modernized this process now.

The locals in Japan love the Daikanyama.

This has become their place, their haven, their community.

It's worth coming to Japan

just to try Japanese whiskey here.
