If the name Fabrizio Viti doesn’t yet ring a bell, his designs surely will. Before launching his self-named brand of slinky-but-walkable shoes last year, he worked at Prada and Louis Vuitton as the mastermind behind their iconic shoe silhouettes. It was there that Coppola first met Viti, and where models like Hilary Rhoda and Emmy Rappe encountered his work. Last night at the turquoise restaurant Socialista, Coppola hosted a fun-filled evening to celebrate Viti’s success now that he’s branched out on his own.
