MatchesFashion.com and Michael Halpern Host a Very English Postshow Dinner

In a lunar-fast luxury e-commerce market, Tom and Ruth Chapman have built a unique asset and a global success story. The recent ground-breaking sale has not effected their generous spirit nor support of young designers, as they feted London dazzler Michael Halpern. His sophomore show at London Fashion Week was held at the iconic Grade II listed London Palladium theater, home to the jolly entertaining Royal Variety Performance. The MatchesFashion.com dinner was held backstage at the venue . . . or so guests thought. After nestling in the long rain forest–inspired tables, the curtains raised and suddenly the guests realized they were center stage.
