Ciao! Daniel Del Core and Vogue Italia’s Francesca Ragazzi Host a Milan Fashion Week Dinner Party with Vogue100

On the first day of Milan Fashion Week, designer Daniel Del Core and Vogue Italia’s Francesca Ragazzi gathered a glittering group to celebrate the fall 2024 collectsions.

Hours after his latest runway collectsion, Del Core was eager to reunite with his friends and fans. Guests, including singer Kelela, actor Julianne Hough, and model Pritika Swarup, to name a few, showed up to support the designer, donning signature Del Core looks. The setting for the decadent dinner was Sant Ambroues Milano, the founding restaurant behind the now multi-location, cult-followed Italian eatery. Housed on a private floor of a Milanese historical building, the intimate dinner party felt like a night out with old friends.

Inspired by Del Core’s fall 2024 themes—natural elegance and whimsical beauty—two long tables were dressed in abstract floral arrangements and vintage candelabras. The mood was utterly Milanese but with a modern twist. Of course, the menu followed suit with a lineup of traditional dishes like flan di zucca, risotto alla Milanese, and veal rustin negáa. Between courses, Vogue Italia’s head of editorial content, Francesca Ragazzi, rose to say a few kind words. “There's no better way to celebrate an amazing friend and designer than this. Thank you all for being here and experiencing Italian culture and community," Ragazzi smiled. “Daniel, you put so much emotion into everything that you do and it's voices like yours that are bringing us to the next level.”

Echoing Ragazzi, Del Core raised his glass to offer a toast, “Thank you everyone for being here, this is my personal dream and it's an honor to share it with you all tonight.”

Ghada Al Subaey and artist Salman Alnajem swapped fashion week schedules with budding denim designer Fumi Lee. Philanthropist and travel entrepreneur Jordan Rhodes caught up with Vogue’s sustainability editor Tonne Goodman and stylist Taylor Angino. Meanwhile, Hough and Swarup turned heads in their eye-catching gown Del Core gowns.

Before guests bid the night adieu, a fluffy Principessa lemon sponge cake with vanilla pastry creme adorned with the Del Core logo arrived at the table. What a sweet way to end the special evening.
